Serralunga-Casa Mia, born from an idea of Luigi Vico
In the family home of Serralunga d'Alba, renovated ad hoc for the realisation of this project, Luigi Vico offers something which he himself, thirsty and hungry for culture, would look for as a tourist. The remodelling of the space follows this guiding concept, the enhancement of Serralunga wines; its landscape and biodiversity, as a unique experience for the visitor.
The project, both ambitious and simple, fits perfectly the context specified by UNESCO guidelines for Heritage Sites, where a propensity for the "culture of biodiversity" is incentivised. At Luigi's home, various experiences are proposed precisely to pass on traditional rural practices implemented in the vineyard. This is the very foundation of the palpable culture of the area, able to recall traditional flavours long lost elsewhere.
