THE CRUS OF SERRALUNGA: VIGNA RIONDA
MGA CARD
Surface: 10.24 ha
Altitude: approx. 260 - 360 m
Soil structure: formations of Lequio
A legendary vineyard that has always produced Barolo with a great structure and dense tannins;
it provides a wine with an incredible aptitude for aging.

Bruno Giacosa (one of the largest producers of Barbaresco) brought this AGM to success with his famous Collina Rionda (whose grapes were bought by Tommaso Canale, in Serralunga).

To better define this land lot, I quote Giaculin Anselma “… it needs time to ripen. With patience you get a wine that fears no rivals... ".

Barolo - always vertical, austere and of a sumptuous structure; conciliatory in some vintages, while incredibly severe in others.
